Printer Disconnect

Hello all!

I have two Upright Helix machines that stay in a Printer Disconnect error. The printer gets full power, feeds paper and has the Ready light on. We replaced the printer, printer cables and attempted to reset the Printer CRC Seed Setup, however, when we save the new code it responds with, "PRINTER DOES NOT SUPPORT CRC or NOT SET". Does anyone know how to solve this? We have been at a lose for a while now.

Can you tell is what Printer you are using, and the Firmware loaded in the Printer

Not sure about the Firmware but the printer is a GEN 5 JCM Global.

Power down the Printer or Machine, holding the Paper Feed button power back up, a Ticket will print out with the Firmware Information

Thanks for the tip on getting the firmware info. Also, we got the problem fixed. It turned out that the "new" cables we initially tried replacing with were actually dead ones that were put in the wrong area of our shop... organization at it's finest!
